PIN Reset Process

If you don't remember the PIN you have used in the app, please press the Forgot button which is located at the bottom-left part of the screen you are asked to enter your PIN. This way, you will be able to reset your PIN.

You will be asked to identify your identity by providing us with the following information:

  • Date of birth

  • The last 4 digits of your bank account number (UK)

  • The last 4 digits of your IBAN (EU)

  • Your NINO (National Insurance Number)


Account Number

Your bank account number is a unique set of numbers assigned to your specific bank account. It serves as an identifier for your account within your bank's system. You can find your bank account number in one of the following:

  • Banking App

  • Bank Statement

  • ATM Receipt

If you are not able to find it anywhere, you should contact your bank directly as this number is necessary to access your Plum account.


IBAN

IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number. It's a standardized, internationally recognized identifier for individual bank accounts. An IBAN typically consists of letters and numbers. It usually includes your country code, a two-digit checksum, and your personal bank account number. You can find your IBAN in one of the following:

  • Banking App

  • Bank Statement

  • ATM Receipt

If you are not able to find it anywhere, you should contact your bank directly as your IBAN is necessary to access your Plum account.


NINO

National Insurance Number (NINO) is a unique personal identifier used for tax, benefits, and social security purposes. It's essential for anyone working, studying, or claiming benefits in the UK. You can find your NINO in one of the following documents:

  • Payslips or P60s from your employer.

  • HMRC letters regarding tax, benefits, or National Insurance.

  • Personal Tax Account: Log in online via the UK Government Gateway.

  • Your Pension Documents: Often included if you're contributing to a workplace pension.
