To withdraw money from Cash ISA, you need to follow the steps below:
Tap the Pockets tile on your home screen
Select the Cash ISA
Tap on the Withdrawal button
Choose the amount you want to withdraw and tap on Continue
Cash ISA - Withdrawal Timeframes
Withdrawals from Cash ISA are not instant. They will take 1 business day to be completed.
When requesting an interest withdrawal before 15:00 UK time on business days, it will be completed by the end of the same day.
When requested after 15:00 UK time on business days or during weekends, it will be completed by the end of the next business day.
The money is going to your Primary Pocket, where you can make a withdrawal to your bank.
Cash ISA - Withdrawal Limitations
Withdrawing from Cash ISA has some limitations that you need to be aware of.
If your balance falls below £100, the interest rate for your Cash ISA will decrease. Once you top up your Cash ISA balance to £100 or more, your higher interest rate will be restored.
You can make up to 3 withdrawals. The interest rate for your Cash ISA will be decreased if you make 4 or more withdrawals for the remainder of the year. After the first year of opening your Cash ISA, you'll be able to make withdrawals without this limitation.
Interest is credited on the first day of the month. For example, December's interest is credited on January 1st. If you withdraw your funds fully in January, December's interest will be credited on January 1, but you will forfeit January's interest.
Before 1 September 2025: Interest was paid on the last working day of the following month. If you withdrew your funds fully in January, December's interest would still be credited on January 31, but you would forfeit January's interest.
