To start investing in Mutual Funds simply tap on "Investments" from the Home screen of the app.

You will then be asked to provide some personal information. Before opening an account, you may be asked to provide further documentation for us to verify your identity. You’ll be notified if this is the case.

Once you have done that, you will need to choose the type of investment account (GIA or ISA).

🔊 Please note that once you choose the type of your investment account, you will not be able to change it, as our partner, Quai, doesn’t support more than one account per user.

You will then be prompted to select the investment fund you’d like to invest in directly from the Discovery page within the portfolio.

Each fund provides information about its risk level, average annual return, and a brief description. For more in-depth details, simply tap on the specific fund.

Here's an overview of the essential sections:

  • Portfolio: This section displays all the investment funds that you have added. You can add any of the available funds, up to a maximum of 12. Here, you can view the number of units you own and the monetary amount invested.

  • Activity: This section records the complete transaction history, encompassing both deposits and withdrawals, for each investment fund. It provides you with a comprehensive record of your investment actions.

These sections are designed to give you a clear and organized view of your investment portfolio and the associated transaction history.

Don’t Forget: You must be over the age of 18 years old and a tax resident of the United Kingdom to invest with Plum. There are some exceptions that you can read more about here.

Please note that, as with all investments your capital is at risk.
