You can easily deposit money from your linked bank account into your Plum investments.

Here's how:

  1. Tap the 'Investments' tile on your home screen.

  2. Select an Investment Fund and tap on ‘’Invest’’

  3. Choose your funding source - you can deposit from your bank account or your Primary Pocket.

Bear in mind that currently, you cannot invest directly from a secondary pocket. You would need to withdraw the amount from the secondary pocket. As soon as it settles into your Primary Pocket, you can invest it.

Can I Set up Recurring Deposits for My Investments?

You can ensure you’re contributing to your investments regularly by setting up your ‘Splitter’ (which can be found in the ‘Brain’ section). This allows you to allocate your deposits between investment funds and/or your main Plum account.

It typically takes around a week to transfer the money to your investment account and then for us to buy the funds on your behalf. Whilst your money is being transferred and placed on the market, your funds will show as ‘pending’.

Can I Cancel a Deposit to My Investment Account?

If you would like to cancel the deposit, you will need to contact a member of the support team.
You can speak to the team by tapping ‘Help’ from within the ‘You’ section of our app or emailing help@withplum.com.

If the money has not yet left your Bank account, we may be able to cancel the transaction for you.

If your funds have already left your Bank account and have been placed on the market or invested in funds, you will have to wait for the funds to be invested and then withdraw these funds back to your account.
