When you trade U.S. stocks on the Plum app, the primary investment is valued in U.S. Dollars ($). To make the transaction, your money needs to be converted to or from British Pounds Sterling (£).

This currency conversion process is managed by our reliable FX partner, Airwallex. They apply a fee, known as an 'FX markup,' which is 0.5% of the total value of your order.
