Price alerts are notifications that let you know when a stock hits a certain price you've chosen. They’re a helpful way to stay on top of market changes without constantly checking the app. You can use them to:
Track when a stock drops to a price you’re comfortable buying at
Get notified when a stock rises to a level where you might want to sell
Simply monitor volatility or key price milestones
Plum will monitor the stock price and notify you as soon as it reaches the level you've set.
How to Set a Price Alert in the Plum App
Open the Investments tab in the app and select the U.S. stock you want to track.
Tap the bell icon at the top of the screen.
Enter the price level you want to be alerted about.
Confirm, and your price alert is now set.
As soon as the stock reaches the specified price, you’ll receive a notification directly on your phone.
Make sure that the notifications are enabled for the Plum app in the settings of your device. Otherwise, you may not receive the alert when the price is hit.
