Can I switch my US Stocks account from a GIA to an ISA?
Can I switch my US Stocks account from a GIA to an ISA?
Updated over 9 months ago

You can only invest in US company stocks using a General Investment Account (GIA) at the moment. Please note that we don't support trading US stocks through a Stocks & Shares ISA.

It's essential to know that a GIA doesn't come with any tax advantages or benefits, unlike an ISA or pension.
