When you transfer money into your Plum SIPP, you might notice that the funds appear as 'pending' in the activity feed for a few working days.
On average, it takes about 5 working days for a SIPP transaction to be fully processed, in contrast to automatic deposits. However, when you transfer funds from your bank account, the money first enters your Plum account and then gets redirected to your SIPP account. This additional step adds about 4 more days to the processing time if the deposit is automatic.
During this period, it might seem like your money is neither in your Plum account nor your Plum SIPP. But there's no need to worry; this is a normal part of the process. Your funds have been transferred into your account and are in the process of being invested during the next trading cycle. Once your money is in the market, it will be reflected in your Plum SIPP profile balance. If the deposit is manual, it should appear as pending within a few minutes.
To check the status of pending transactions, go to Plum SIPP, and click 'See Details' to find the completion dates for each transaction.
Please be aware that when transferring pensions from different providers to Plum SIPP, the process might take several weeks to complete.
