Linking your Starling account is quick and easy to do!
1. Open the Starling app
Once you've selected Starling as the bank you want to link to Plum, tap 'continue'. It will direct you to a page where you have the option to open the app. If you do not have the app you can also download it there too!
If you are on a browser or are using Messenger on your desktop, Plum will ask you to scan the QR code on your phone. This will take you to the Starling application on your phone as well!
Enter your passcode or use your fingerprint to log in.
If you do not remember your passcode, you can reset it on the login screen by tapping 'Reset Passcode'
3. Approve access to request data
Once you've logged into your Starling account, our data aggregation partner TrueLayer will ask for you to approve the data we have requested to read from your accounts (such as your account balance, Direct Debit mandates, bank account details and address history). Scroll down and then select 'Approve'.
4. Link to Messenger
Tap 'Allow'. This will open up the option to continue onto Messenger, select 'Messenger'.
5. You will receive a message from Plum. Tap 'continue' to select which Starling account you would like to link to Plum, then tap 'Link Account' and enter the bank account sort code.
6. Voila, you are linked!
