To link your Santander bank account to Plum you need:
1. Personal ID
This is the first information you have to enter when logging in to your Online Banking.
You will then be asked to give Plum access to your data so that we can save for you!
Tap ‘Allow’ to move to the next step.
2. Enter your Customer Number
You will be taken to a second screen where you need to enter your Customer Number. This is 8-16 characters long. Enter your number and tap ‘Login Securely’.
3. Online Banking login details
In the third step you will be asked to enter your Online Banking login details. Your password is 8-20 characters long and your security number 5 digits.
4. The final step
Once you have filled out the required fields, you will be taken to the last step. Choose the Santander account you would like connected to Plum and tap ‘Link account’. From here, enter your sort code to create the Direct Debit then you’re all linked and good to go!

Not even able to recognise my Personal ID
Hi, having the same problem as Finbar. Plum won't recognise my Santander personal ID
Simply refuses to submit my personal ID, just clears the text box when I press submit.
I also have the same. I type my Santander Personal ID however asks for more security questions but there is nothing apart from Submit. When I press submit it states an error has occurred 😥

I’m having same issue with my Santander account. got the message today to say can longer connect to my account, trying to fix it but keeps saying we need some additional security info, then after I press submit the following message pops up, a validation error has occurred.
Is this just with Santander customers or is anyone else having the same issue with other banks?
I can’t link my santander account either.. After I put in my online banking details, it says Please wait...This may take up to 2 minutes and it’s been stuck on securely linking to your bank account for 30 minutes....help??
