Here are a few tips to help you link your HSBC account.
1. Username
This is either your IB number or a unique username you created which you use to log in to your Online Banking.
If you have forgotten your username, you can find it out here, all you need is your account details (account number and sort code)
2. Memorable Answer
This is the answer you have to enter when you log in to your Online Banking WITHOUT A SECURE KEY.
If you've forgotten your memorable answer, you can reset this by clicking on 'forgot your memorable answer' from the log-on screen and follow the instructions. You will need to answer your security questions to do this.
3. Password
This is your online banking password. HSBC asks for 3 random characters but Plum requires the FULL one.
If you do not know your password you can reset it immediately online by using your Security Device and providing the answers to the two memorable questions chosen when you first registered. To reset your password, choose to login without a Secure Key and select the ‘Forgot your password’ link on the log-on page.
